In October 2007 I had to find another carer because my other one, Claire had to leave me. So, I asked Qualcare if they
could put an advertisement in The Border Mail to help me find another. I received a few applications from The Border Mail
advertisement. I tried 1 person out for 2-3 weeks, I was not happy with her. I had an idea! I asked one of my old carers,
Rebecca, for help to find a carer. Rebecca said "I've got someone for you!" Rebecca gave Ella's information to Qualcare.
They gave her my information,and Qualcare passed her's onto me.
I sent an SMS to Ella, and then we then Chatted on MSN. I think she really wanted to get the job. We arranged to meet
the next day!
I remember she told me, "I have a 7 year old daughter" and I think she was a little bit worried about it. I
said "I'd like meet your daughter, Rosie" and that's where our friendship began.
I have known Ella for 5 months now, for which period she's also been my Personal Carer. She helps me and my mum lots and
she is a very, very good carer, and a very, very good friend. She does love to chat with me. Sometimes Ella bought rosie with
her. I like it because she called me Uncle Carlo,and I enjoyed to chat with Rosie because she is a very good, and funny girl.
I fixed Ella's computer. Her Windows XP was stuffed!! I re-formatted her Hard-Disk,than I install windows XP, Office 2007,
Outpost Security Suite Pro 2007 and Firefox for her. Ella brought blue cheese for me to say thank you.
Unfortunately on 13th January 2007,she sat on the chair beside me and had watering eyes.
I wasn't ready for this. "I have to leave you because I have to find a full-time job", but she said "I
will still come to help you a little bit." I thoroughly that she'd stay with me for a little bit longer. Oh well, I really
enjoyed Ella. We had lot of fun and laughs together
