In May of 2005 I placed an advertisement in at Coles And at the Birallie shops. Emma Fraser found my ad, Answered it and
she rang Qualcare. They gave her my Information to how to contact me. And that's exactly What she did! She sent an email to
me. I loved her email, Carol from qualcare give me emma's mobile number And I sent sms to Emma few times then we then Chatted
on MSN. I think she really wanted to get the job Because she spoke with me a few times a day, but not About the job. I thought
it was good thing. When I told Emma "You've got the job!" she was very happy and She said "I'm walking around
the house singing 'I've got A job, I've got a job, ohhhh I've got a job!' I've just Danced around the house singing 'I've
got a job!' I'm so Excited you are the only one in years who has had faith In me!"
I didn't know how she would turn out. But I had a funny feeling because she spoken to me many times before this job. Due
to this our friendship started, and now she my best friend. In fact. now she like a sister to me. In 3 months she has helped
me lots, especially when I was in trouble with my personal stuff. Since she has walked into my life I feel safer because she
knows me very, very, VERY WELL. This is because she spent lots time with me, we speak on MSN and we go out and just talk about
anything. She doesn't care about money. (I remember when I interviewed Emma I said to her that this job didnt have not lot
of hours, Emma said to me it is only pocket money!) Emma is a very, very easy going person be with. When she come in my
house I feel like she isn't my carer, its like having a sister in the house.
We have had lot of fun in 7 months! Emma knows me really well and I thought that I had found the perfect carer. But on
Melbourne Cup day 2005 Emma talked with me on MSN. She told me "I have got something to tell you. But I want to tell
it to your face." She came over but I already knew what she had to tell me. She sat on the chair beside me, crying and
she told me [I have to leave you because my husband got a job in Darwin.] I tried to hold it together for Emma, but it was
the saddest day in my life. Oh well. I made a real best friend.
From Carlo
Emma left me as my carer on 15\12\05 but we still BEST friend [sister]
