I was looking for jobs in the paper when I saw Carlo's ad. I rang up Qualcare straight away because it sounded like a
fun job. Carol gave me Carlo's details and I sent him an email. I went to meet Carlo after work one day and I could tell straight
away that he would be fun to work with. After the interview I didn't hear from Carlo for a couple of days and I started to
think that I didn't get the job. I was very disappointed because I really wanted it. The next week I was at my parent's house
and Carlo was on MSN. We chatted for a while and then he said that I had the job!! I was very excited!
I started a couple of days later and Carlo's other carer Emma showed me how to do everything. Carlo and Emma had a very
good friendship and I hoped that one day it would be the same for Carlo and I.
As time went by I got to know Carlo and he got to know me and we got along well. We have become very good friends and
now he is like a brother to me always telling me to stop smoking lol!
Just last week I heard that I got into Wollongong University which meant that I had to leave Wodonga. I was very sad because
everything is going so well for me at the moment. I told Carlo and he was upset and so was I but we both thought well we still
have another month to hang out so lets make the most of it! Carlo is the most generous person I know and he is always happy!
You can never be sad or cranky when you are with Carlo because he always has a big smile that lights up the room! He is an
inspiration to me and everyone else around him. I know that when I go I will always keep in contact with Carlo because he
has become one of my best friends!
